Blog posts that mention the Sikorsky S-70B Seahawk:

The Sikorsky S-70B Seahawk was developed from the SH-60B Seahawk which was a development of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The S-70B is easily identified from its predecessor by its bulbous nose, search light and six blade main rotor. The aircraft has been developed into several different models to include Air Force and Coast Guard variants along with foreign export customers having placed orders for the aircraft.

The strength of the Sikorsky S-70B Seahawk is its ability to land in choppy seas and has been able to lower personnel onto a ship while it is still moving. The S-70B can also be configured to transport up to 11 passengers or two pallets of cargo without hindering in the aircraft’s performance.

The US Navy currently operates the S-70B Seahawk from all of its aircraft carriers and is currently in service with the navies of Argentina, Australia, Canada, Egypt, Italy, India Japan and South Korea.
